We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The Training Notebook, Inc., (“The Training Notebook”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) is strongly committed to protecting and respecting your privacy rights. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) relates to the information collection and use practices of The Training Notebook in connection with our website located at https://www.thetrainingnotebook.com/ and our mobile app (collectively, the “Site”) and our Services.
Description of Users and Acceptance of Terms
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Site, who view only publicly-available content (the “Visitors”) and subscribers who have signed up to access and use the Services (the “Subscribers”).
By accessing the Site and/or using the Services (whether through a Paid Subscription or as a Free Trial), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Service at https://www.thetrainingnotebook.com/Terms_of_Services (“Terms of Service”), which are hereby incorporated by reference (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to any terms of the Agreement, please do not use the Site or the Services.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.
The information we collect and/or receive
In the course of operating the Site, and the Services, and/or interacting with you, The Training Notebook will collect (and/or receive) the following types of information.

Contact Information
When you contact us through the “Contact Us” page, register to become a Subscriber, or connect with us through Facebook or a social media page, you will be asked to provide certain information which may include first name, last name, e-mail address, country, city and User ID (“Contact Information”). We do not collect any Contact Information from you when you use our Site unless you provide us with the Contact Information voluntarily (for example, by creating an account with The Training Notebook, sending us an e-mail, or interacting with us via our social media pages, such as through Facebook). While we shall use your information pursuant to this Privacy Policy, the use of social media networks (e.g., to login to your The Training Notebook account) is also subject to such social media networks’ own terms of use and privacy policies. The Contact Information is used to provide the requested service or information, and to contact Subscribers and Visitors for purposes of direct marketing of our current and future services.

Billing Information
In order to purchase a Subscription to our Services, you may be required to provide certain additional information which may include a credit card number, expiration date, billing address and zip code, verification code, and similar information (“Billing Information”). Such Billing Information will be collected and processed by our third-party payment vendor pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use, and we do not obtain access to any Billing Information.

In an ongoing effort to improve the Site, and the Services, we automatically collect certain information when Visitors visit the Site, and when Subscribers use the Services. This information consists of IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Site Visitors visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Site, and the Services.

Such information is collectively called the “Geolocational Information.” Collection of such Geolocational Information occurs only when the Site is running on your mobile device. You may decline to allow us to collect such Geolocational Information, in which case we may not be able to provide certain features or functionalities to you.

We also collect information by using “cookie” technology. We use one or more third–party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to evaluate your use of the Site, and the Services, compile reports on activity (based on their collection of IP addresses, Internet service provider, browser type, operating system and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, data and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Site you visit, number of links clicked while on the Site, search terms and other similar usage data), and analyze performance metrics. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide us the data. By accessing and using the Site, and/or the Services, you consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. From Your Activity
Information collected by or through third-party advertising companies
You authorize us to share Other Information about you with third parties, including, but not limited to, advertising and remarketing providers, or other brand partners, for purposes of personalizing or otherwise understanding how you engage with ads or other content. These third parties may use cookies, pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs), or other technologies to collect Other Information in furtherance of such purposes, including to tailor, target (i.e., behavioral, contextual, retargeting, and remarketing), analyze, report on, and/or manage advertising campaigns or other initiatives. How we use and share the information
You authorize us to use the Contact Information, and the Other Information (collectively, the “Information”) to provide you the Site and the Services; solicit your feedback; inform you about our products and services; and to improve our products and services.

How we protect your information

Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee that the Information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.
Links to third party sites
The Site may, from time to time, contain links to external websites. The Training Notebook encourages you to review the privacy and security policies of any externally linked websites that may be accessed through the Site. The Training Notebook assumes no responsibility or liability for the information, collection and disclosure practices of any external websites that a user can access through the Site. Please check the privacy policies of these external websites before you submit any personal information to them.
Accessing/modifying information and communication preferences
Subscribers may access, review, and make changes to their personal information by logging in to their account. In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any The Training Notebook marketing email. Subscribers cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to their account. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.
Important notice to non-U.S. Residents
The Site, Services, and their servers are operated in the United States and governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us maybe transferred to, processed, maintained, and used on computers, servers, and systems located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the Services, you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to such transfer, processing, and use in the United States and elsewhere. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the Site and/or the Services, you do so at your own risk.
California privacy rights
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship (and that are not otherwise exempt) have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year, including the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. If you wish to submit a request pursuant to Section 1798.83, please send an e-mail to support@thetrainingnotebook.com with “Privacy Policy” in the subject line.
In addition, The Training Notebook does not monitor, recognize or honor any opt-out or do not track mechanisms including general web browser, “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals.
Children
The Training Notebook does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 through the Site, and/or the Services. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide any information through the Site, and/or the Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide any information on this Site or the Services, or any other web site without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided information to The Training Notebook through the Site, and/or the Services, please contact us at support@thetrainingnotebook.com and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Changes to this privacy policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post any changes on the Site, and/or the Services as soon as they go into effect. By accessing the Site, and/or the Services after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
