Build Your Own Online Personal Training Biz
Posting Facebook or Instagram pictures and videos of you working out is not vain unless you're posting duck-face or booty pictures.
Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter should be looked in a different way to us. We should look at it as a tool that can help us get clients and earn money. Here are two steps you can take today to build your online coaching business.
Become the "GO-TO" Fitness guys among your friends. Start posting something useful and actionable every day. Example: I do deadlifts bc... and you should try them out next time you hit the gym, or I'm eating four eggs for breakfast bc... and eggs are an excellent source of protein.
Post a "Fitness Tip of the Day" every day. Posting tips on social media are just like workouts, and you don't get into great shape by doing one great workout once in a while. You get into great shape by being consistent and working out even when you don't want to. Remember people won't know you're an excellent trainer unless you always remind them.
What I'm trying to say is that I don't want us to become dinosaurs trainers. When January 1st, 2017 rolls around which trainer do you want to be?
Trainer A: Training private clients at a big box gym and or at private gyms and always relying on getting new business by client referrals or from your fitness manager.
Trainer B: Training private clients at a big box gym and or at private gyms and getting new business by client referrals or from your fitness manager. And getting new one-on-one and online clients via social media. And selling a specialty online coaching programs. And having the freedom to make money while training online clients at home in your PJ's.
If you want to be trainer "B", then start posting useful, actionable information every day on Facebook and Instagram for the next five months so you can position yourself as the GO-TO trainer in your circle of friends.
P.S - For the past five months, I've been studying what successful online coaches are doing to build their business, and I want to share the information with you.
